White Collar.

Alright.
'Busy' IS my middle name.
hahaha

Before I fantasize about my trip to Bintan,
I will tell you about my horror.

Ok.
Its not much of a horror.
But its is fine.

What else other than my attachment of course??!
Yes...

What I hate the most about it is just the LOONNNNGG journey trip to work.
I takes like about 1hour and 30minutes!
That is like 90 freaking minutes.
multiply by 2 equals to 180 minutes!
I spend a total of 180 minutes travelling.
No!
Sitting on the bus,
looking silly while I was asleep!

The first day was oklah..
I didnt expect much.
Just pretty neutral.

I was posted to Operation at the Budget Terminal.

YES!
Some kind of OPERATIONS!
HELLO!
This is EVENTS student.
NOT OPERATION!

My department or my office basically over look the whole of Budget Terminal.
From the air plane, to the tiny dust that is stuck in between the keyboard at internet kiosk.

YES!
Literally EVERYTHING.
We are the mother of all Budget Terminal.
The heart of the Budget Terminal.
The brain of the Budget Terminal
The hands, nose, eyes, ears, skin, cells, intestine, private part of the Budget Terminal.

HAHAH!

This is my final statement for my workplace.
Work sucks but the people don't.

Yeah.
My appointed supervisor kinda rocks.
I mean work work.
But he also got that 'slack' element in him.
hahaha!
Yeah.

On the first day,
it was like 615.
He told me to go home.
Told me its already late.
*work ends at 6*
yah.

He himself also leave at that time.
My colleague even better.
550 you pack up.
559 get ready to go.
6 den go.
hahhaa!

FUNNY!

I think this is what typical white collar workers face everyday in singapore.
Kinda interesting.
And now i know how it feels like to WORK.
Yeah.

This is what you do not face in school.
Maybe the 'i am waiting for this time to go home' is the same.
But its in the different environment.
Like school,
once school is over,
you still got homeworks, cca and other school related stuff.
but work,
WHAT DO YOU HAVE?

NOTHING!

All i need to do is to go home,
rest and wake up again next day for work.

Thats life of a white collar workers.

Basically as of today,
its my 3rd day.

1st day, I was asked to read the "bible" of Changi Airport passenger service.
YAH!
It was like reading an A4 size dictionary.

I was only browsing through though.

Then my supervisor gave me work.
Data entry.
Find the percentage of the carpark occupancy.
For the whole of 3 years, month by month.
2008-2010.

YES!
I was like Ctrl C, Ctrl V.
Yeah..
dats all.

Then the next day,
someone else gave me another work.
Filing.
I need to come up with the content page for the things i am going to file in.
And its about ISO 140001.
Yes.
I dont know what that is,
just follow like a cute little duckling tailing his mother duck.

Talking about duck,
just now my colleague we discussing about duck being halal or not halal.
And frog being halal or not also.
Den duck egg.
Crab.
hahahh!

YAH!
I was the only Malay there.
So,
I am responsible for the 'Islamic' explanation.
hahhahaa

back to my work,
2nd day was good.
For lunch,
we went to T3 transit.
My first time in T3 ever since before the official opening.
And first time in the transit area.
I tell you..
OH MY GOD!

The place is so big and beautiful!!!
And like,
I was awed by the architecture.

We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe.
And OMG!
So cheap!
Staff promotion.
Only $9.99!!!

Drink, main meal and dessert.
And the dessert was Haagen Dazs ice cream.
ahh...

My first time eating at Hard Rock Cafe and first time eating Haagen Dazs ice cream.
OMG!

AND AND AND the best part is....
its FREE!!

My colleague had $50 voucher.
and there was 5 of us.
So,
i forked out not a single cents.
HAHHAHAHHHAHAHAH!

And oh yah,
the cafe is right by the viewing mall.
So,
right beside the cafe, you can see one magnificent, gargantuan
aeroplane!!

I was like OMG!
I have got to be dreaming!!!!

HAHAHHAHA!
It was a good experience.
and i am loving it!

Dats what i like about working in the airport.
and not to mention the duty free shop in transit area!

HAHHAAHAHH!!!!

I saw Pedro, Aldo shoe...
I am like ahhh...
I think there is stil gst.
but there MIGHT be staff discount.
I need to check that out 1st.

I am not a 'branded' kind of person,
but the sound of DISCOUNT!
so enticing!!

OMG!
I am soo going to shop there one day.
and i want to buy perfume.

And i got a lucky supervisor who got contacts and can get things at a very cheap price.
YEAH!
and ironically,
he is carrying an LV messenger bag!

What else can i say...?
hmm....

...

next thing,
should i, or shouldn't i go for dance.
They have configure the practise time to later,
so that those working can practise also.
and also over the weekend like saturday afternoon.

hmm..
its only a month...
before the main performance.
MUSE 3.

hmm..
maybe i should...
i mean,
when else can i exercise?

well,
working has been an experience.
