Phuket 2010!

Back from Phuket.
Back safe & sick!

Yeah..
I am sick.
Flu & cough.

argh!
Just what i need during the vacation.


Well,
there is LOADS to say!
Phuket was just an EYE OPENER!!

Opened my eyes and everything else!!
Here goes..


So the flight was on
Friday,
29th January 2010.
9.25am.

Yeah.
Had to wake up early in the morning.

Here are my parents and my younger sis.


My elder sis and her fiancee.
Getting married next year!!


and thats ME!

My favourite purple hoodie.
Favourite brown berms.
KUBE mp3 found in class room.
My luggage.
By the way, everyone brought backpack.
except for me.
I was the only one carrying luggage.
Hehehhe...

New baby blue havainas that my younger sis bought
as of her 1st pay.

By the way, can some one tell me whats so good about this EXPENSIVE slippers??
I got blisters wearing them!!
So what does this mean??

Havainas is a good as any other slippers!!!

and last but not least,
my NEW haircut!
YEAH!

Just cut them the day before the vacation.
Something very different!
INDEED!
Coz i ask the aunty to give that MOHAWK feel.
and yeah.
she did!
ROCK ON!!!


By the way,
those who went were only my elder sis, future brother in law, my younger sis and i.
My parents were there to sent us to the airport.

1st time was to Cambodia.
3rd time probably to Australia!
hehhee..
Waiting for that!

It was my younger sis's 1st time.
So let her seat by the window.

Upon reaching the Phuket Airport,
looking for our 'tour guide'

LOADS of ang moh!!!

And i saw,
i think they are from the middle east.
Wearing tight shirt and jeans.
Holding 'tasbih'!

Im like,
WOKAaaaY....

Out 1st trip was to the GEMS Factory

They showed us how the gem is collected and made.
Very cool!
and EXPENSIVE!!!

Was thinking of buying some.
but nah..

Got better thing to buy.

Us in the minibus.

Next is to the dried food factory.

kinda boring.
Nothing much to buy.
Coz the goods are kinda expensive.

One packet of those dried fish cost like SGD$4

Honestly speaking,
Phuket is NOT a shopping paradise.
Most of the tourist are European.
So, they based their price
base on the European's pricing.

And we asian loose out.

So, Phuket is more of a relaxing paradise.
U can do a little shopping here and there.
But most of the stuff are pretty expensive.

Some scene you cannot see in Singapore.

we went out to look for FOOD.

2pm Singapore is 1pm Phuket.



We got lost looking for food.
So made a stop at a cafe for drink.


Guess how much does a can drink cost there??
SGD$2.60

YES!
Expensive.
Coz that shop is like 'Coffee Bean', 'Starbucks'

So yah..

And guess what im holding?

YES!

Going phuket is suppose to be relaxing.
And the calculator really helps!
No need to think about how much is how much.
Just press in the digits,
divide by 23
and you get Singapore's price.

no need mental calculation.

Asked the staff in the cafe for help.
Den managed to find one halal shop.
And indian shop.


Nice shop.
nicely decorated.
Some how reminds me of Cambodia.
Coz like the food available for us is pretty much Indian food.
But here,
they do provide Thai Food.

And we ordered ala carte,
and per plate is SGD$12.

OUCH!
YES!!!

We totally got into the wrong shop!
But the food is quite nice.
I ordered Rice Soup with Chicken.

Its like chicken soup filled with rice.

Back at the hotel.
The boys room are ready!

Btw way,
our room is right beside the girls room
So we go through the next room,
via climbing through the balcony.

The place to shop feels like Bugis.
Everywhere you go,
you can see SAME thing!

Like in Cambodia,
you see the
'SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT'

but here your see britney showing off middle finger.
shirts with the printed shaded or printed headphone.

bad guys go to Phuket'

Made in Thailand.

Its not so hot or spicy.
But its very sweet.

and on top of that,
we also ordered cockles.

And i tell you.
It taste very different from Singapore's cockles.

I dont know whats the different.
but it just tasted fresher and cleaner.
You know when you eat cockles in singapore,
there is this black black thing in your cockles.
and probably some sand.

Over in Thailand,
no black black stuff,
no sand,
not at all.
I think there is blood.
Is it blood?
Does cockles have blood?

But what ever it is,
it taste way better!

Simply love the food there!

After that,
we continued shopping.

Look at ALL the fake goods!
Loads of Ray Bans.
and many others!

And yes!
You gussed it!

Just what i need.
I bought 3 new shades.
I bought 2 of those i wanted.

One black.
One Orange!
and one of this.

i thought i could get it like 3 for SDG10 or something.
but it is expensive!
In Singapore they sell is at around SGD$10
in those Bugis shop there.

All those, each are around SGD$7-8.
Oklah.
Kinda not worth it.
Yet worth it.

Just still not satisfied with the price though.

Cant remember what i bought on that day.
Went back to the hotel.
and sleep.

The next day,
we went to Phi Phi Island.

One HELL of a
B.E.A.Uuuuuuu tiful island!

While waiting for the bus to pick us up.

And look how many are going to Phi Phi Island
There is like 4-6 cruise going tho the island.
Im in the number 2.
and eveywhere you go,
you see Ang moh!
Most of them are European.

Its my elder brother's.
He hardly wears them.
So i take them away.

And my one and only board shorts
that i love the most.
Bought at pasar malam when i was in secondary school.
Very long already.
Still usable after getting the zip fixed.

Everyone apply sunblock.

There is really nothing to do for that 1hr trip to
phi phi island.
So what else can i do except for cam-whoring rite?

Me being me.
Camhwhoring is a must!

Ive never seen any sea water as clear as this!
This is nothing u can find in Singapore!




Since we paid SGD$65 for the whole trip.
Cruise for and back.
Lunch.
Free flow of drink in the cruise.
and Snorkeling!

YES!
YUP!

We went snorkeling.
I simply love it!



And i was so not use to breathing via mouth.
so one incident,
i breath through my nose.
All the sea water went in.
OMG!!!!

The pain in a KILLER!!!
The water is already super salty!
And OMG!!
I got nothing else to say except for OUCH!!!

My sister and her bf are clever to buy a water proof camera.
Those cheap cheap under water camera.
Those buy and throw away.

Phi Phi Island has two part.
One is quite 'mountainous'
the other one is flat land.
So our 2nd trip was to the flat land of Phi Phi Island.
For lunch.

They have created shelter for us to enjoy our lunch.
by the way,
its buffet lunch.

After lunch,
there is some free time for us.
So we head to the beach.


Ok.
For this picture,
I have a lot to say.
Just follow me closely.
It is a very nice photo of Phi Phi Island.

You see the two guy on the left hand of the picture.
Right beside the two lady in the middle.
That is a gay couple.
A VERY OPEN gay couple.
They were kissing openly.
Playing with each others tongue.
Hugging.

By the way, the couple,
both of them have nice body!
Reminds me of Ricky Martin.



2.
The two ladies in the middle of the photo and
the lady on the far right side of the photo.
They were sun bathing naked.
No bikini.
They bare them all.
Even when they go to the sea.
They just walk naked.
Half naked.
They were still in their 'panties' on.
I dont know what they call it.
Just call it panties ah.

3.
In between the ladies in the middle of the picture,
you can see a lady in white hat.
She is what we can call it senior citizen.
Wearing Neon Pink 2 piece bathing suit.
With sagging boobs!

4.
The sea ain't deep.
You can swim or walk all the way to any of the ship you see.
The at most will only reach to your
stomach area.

YUP!

Leaving Phi Phi Island.


The next day,
we went shopping again.

An aunty in a portable stall selling coconut drink and fruits.
Big coconut: SGD$1.70
Small coconut: SGD$1.00

Another one.
but i dont know what he sells.

Singapore,
all our electricity and water pipes are underground.
In Phuket,
their electricity are all above land.
And the scarry thing about it is dat,
you can literally hear the electric.
Like those 'ZZzzzzz" sound.
Like Bee sound.
Its everywhere.


Outside a tattoo shop.

And there are many ang moh riding Harley Davidson there.
Load of them.
And in phuket, they also provide motorcycle rental.
So you can rent motorcycle.
Many of them got those scooter or vespa kind.
Everywhere you go,
you can see man half naked riding on the scooter.

And one funny thing is that in Phuket,
i realise that only the rider wears helmet.
The passenger dont.
I am like..??
WTH!

So we went to the one any only shopping mall there.

So there will be some obscene scene of this skinny guy.

And don't be shock by what the shopping center offer.
I went to Carrefour
and bought a linen coat @ SGD$13.
They even have those male CottonOn shoe at SGD$8!!!
I also bought hair wax.
Gatsby hair wax at SGD$3!

And had facial & massage there,

Remove our white heads, black heads,
facial massage and many more.
And head to toe massage.

Kinda worth it.
but the massage was rather errr...
feeling less.
It felt as if the masseur was just touching my body.
Hardly feel any force on my body.
I would like to have my Cambodia massage!
CD! can we go back to Cambodia for the massage!!!
I miss Cambodia massage!!!
I miss the body swing swing swing and crack back!
Ahhh.. OMG...!!
DAMN SHIOK!!!


Since we are lazy to walk back to hotel,
we took the tuk tuk!
YUP!
SGD$9 for 4 people to any where.
Kinda expensive,
the fact that our hotel is pretty near the shopping center.
like 10-15min drive.



The next morning,
everyone went to the beach.
I was busy watching Fashion TV!
Hahahah!

My younger sister got some hair braided.

At night,
we went out shopping for the last time!!
see no evil.hear no evil.say no evil

We went to her shop on the 1st night.
And went back again for the 3rd night.
to get good bargain!!

Some of the delicasies,
this one is like prata and chocolate.
but tasted like omelette with chocolate.

Thats all!
Overall,
the trip was one great experience.
Very hot.
Making love with the HOT SUN everyday!

Kinda like the colour of my tanned leg.
Hahahha!
Not so obvious though.
But looks nice under the sun.
Hehehe..


Now my nose is peeling.

Im sick.
Skipping classes.
